Ingredients
- 1 tsp Sun & Spice Golden Turmeric
- Pinch of Sun & Spice Bold Black Pepper
- 0.25 tsp Sun & Spice Ceylon Cinnamon
- 250ml milk of choice
- 1 tsp honey or maple syrup
- 0.5 tsp coconut oil or ghee
- Small piece of fresh ginger, grated (optional)

Method
- Pour the milk into a small saucepan and warm over medium-low heat. Do not let it boil.
- Whisk in the Golden Turmeric, Bold Black Pepper, and Ceylon Cinnamon until fully dissolved and the milk turns a rich golden colour.
- Add the coconut oil and grated ginger if using. Continue to warm gently for 3-4 minutes, whisking frequently.
- Remove from the heat and stir in the honey or maple syrup.
- Pour into your favourite mug through a small strainer if you used fresh ginger. Dust with a final pinch of cinnamon to serve.
Tips

- The pinch of black pepper is essential. It contains piperine, which increases the absorption of curcumin in turmeric by up to 2000%.
- Oat milk and coconut milk create the creamiest results. Almond milk works but produces a thinner drink.
- For an iced version, brew the golden milk concentrated with half the milk, then pour over ice and top up with cold milk.
