Why our core spices are different
Commodity spices typically reach the UK months or years after harvest. By that point the essential oils that carry colour and aroma have faded.
Our core spices come direct from Sri Lankan growers and are packed close to harvest. The result is vivid colour, sharper aroma and noticeably stronger performance in every dish.
What's in the range
Three single-origin Sri Lankan spices, each pure with no fillers or blending agents.
Golden Turmeric
Vibrant ground turmeric with a strong curcumin profile. Sourced from dry-zone growers and ground close to packing for fresh aroma.
Fire Chilli Powder
Bold, deep-red Sri Lankan chilli with medium-to-high heat. A workhorse for curries, marinades, finishing rubs and brand-owner spice ranges.
Bold Black Pepper
Sharp, aromatic Sri Lankan black pepper with citrus undertones. Ground from whole peppercorns close to packing.
How trade buyers use them
These three anchor most South Asian, Caribbean and Mediterranean cooking. Retailers stock them as everyday essentials; professional kitchens reach for them daily; private-label brands build house ranges around them.
- Turmeric: curries, rice, slow-cooked stews, wellness lattes, marinades
- Chilli: sauces, rubs, stews, eggs, anywhere you want depth and heat
- Pepper: finishing seasoning, grinder refills, bulk culinary use
