400ml cans are the retail standard. They'll always have a place on shelf. But for UK food service operations, curry restaurants running daily volumes, hotel kitchens batching dessert, beverage operators making chai or smoothie bases, tetra-pak in 1L format is the format that wins. Less waste, less handling, longer shelf life once opened, no can lining concerns.
Sri Lankan production scaled aggressively into tetra-pak through 2023–24, and that's the format we lead with for UK trade. We supply retail-format cans alongside, but the strategic supply is the 1L tetra-pak workhorse.
